More than ever before, it is important for advisors and planners to be educated in how the client’s mental health can impact the clients.  More than 1 in 5 (7.5 million Canadians) live with a mental health problem – 85% of advisors spend more time with clients with mental health issues than with other clients.  Bridgehouse has done a tremendous amount of research in this area and has now updated the practical tools they provide to dealers and their advisors.

Carol Lynde, President & CEO, Bridgehouse Asset Managers

Carol is responsible for the oversight and building of the asset management business at Bridgehouse Asset Managers, an independent platform for products from investment managers with deep institutional roots. Through financial advisors, Bridgehouse aims to help Canadians build their long-term wealth by following sound investing principles. Prior to joining the firm in June 2002, Carol served as SVP of Client Relations and Operations at one of Canada’s largest investment fund managers. A Chartered Professional Accountant, Carol also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration. She has served on the boards of a number of organizations (industry and charitable); currently she is the Chair of the Board of Directors of The Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) and sits on the Board of Directors for the Lakeridge Health Foundation in Durham Region.
