Scott is a 30 year veteran of the investment industry. His roles have evolved from investment advisor to mutual fund wholesaler to divisional sales manager to advisor trainer to advisor performance coach. Scott’s passion for teaching industry required/related courses at Ryerson University and Humber College led to running training programs at Merrill Lynch in both Canada and the U.S. before being asked to re-design and run the industry leading 18 month new advisor training program at BMO-Nesbitt Burns for almost a decade. Through these advisor training programs, Scott has trained and mentored over 1,000 advisors. Scott has also been asked to sit on various MFDA and IIROC committees which addressed advisor proficiency, sales practices and continuing education requirements. Scott continues to serve the industry as a team/advisor coach and as a subject matter expert for Moody’s Global Education where he has helped with course content revisions and program delivery. In his leisure time, Scott is an avid canoeist, a lifelong admirer of architecture, a film buff and a very passionate father of three who does his best to keep up with his daughter on the ski slopes.
